Automatic transmission check, It could mean your transmission set off a code. You should get it check out, just to be on the safe side.

I was stuck in the ice and my boy was gunning my car to get out and when I was driving I felt my horse power was low I turned the car off and turned it back on and the car drove like normal but the light flashed then went off

i had that happen to me recently when i replaced my tranny. i got a p0720, p1574 code and it ended up being a connector on the tranny was disconnected

This happened to me once when my car got stuck going up into my driveway last year due to ice/snow. In an effort to get the car out, I put the car in reverse, tried backing out, got a little movement, then put it into drive and again tried jocking it up. After a few quick attempts doing this the light flashed for a 2-3 seconds. Needless to say I got scared, shut off the car, waited 5 minutes, and restarted, got the car up luckily and never got that light again.

Used to smell burnt ATF, now I smell burnt clutch
