Car pops out of gear in reverse Vol. WTF??

I have a 6MT and whenever I put my car in reverse and back into a parking spot it's normal but for some reason when I'm backing down the street and the RPM's start crossing 1.5-2k it aggressively pops into neutral...the clutch is brand new (around 180 miles on it since install) but this has happened to me once before with my old clutch so I know it's not that...anybody been through anything similar with their car or can shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance

To tell the truth when that happened to me in my fourth gear soon after my tranny went so to me I think it's the tranny showing signs that the check ball system might be going therefore u might either need a rebuild or a swap but let's wait for the gurus to chime in

Check your shifter cables and bushings

Appreciate the help..the shifter bushing/cables diagnosis is much more pocket friendly so I'll start there and hope that's the problem...

The cheapest way to fix the problem is to hold the knob in reverse when reversing lol. That's what I did for a while.

check fluid level and make sure its right fluid ? perhaps leak from axles seals causing low fluid condition
