Re: LOOKING FOR CAAR AUDIO (systems) INSTALLATION

honestly bro stick to car speakers not mids speakers...a nice set of comps and coax and call it a day the mids are to much of a head ache to get the sound you want trust me i went threw about 1500 just in figuring out what i want and still not happy i wish i would if went with car speakers mids are house speakers and require a box not a door

Whatever happened to M@neZ, he was the audio guru. Always stuck by the Celestions Component speakers.

Re: LOOKING FOR CAAR AUDIO (systems) INSTALLATION

MB quart Q's (the older model with silk dome tweeters and beautiful passive crossover) marvelous sound where you can literally hear every note. can take 150rms

Run it through a Good Quality AMP, like a JL or RF or PG or Orion..

Of Course.... if you are using a shitty SONY headunit, or other such similar BullShit equipment, you might as well deckout your car in similar BS Pyramid ebay gear

Re: LOOKING FOR CAAR AUDIO (systems) INSTALLATION

Ok I need some advice . I just got my interior speakers and put a new amp in . But when I turn up loud the lights dim and cuts off. I also upgraded to a optima yellow top , still doing the same thing. When u asked before ppl told me that I don't need an extra battery in the back but now im starting to think I do. Any help is much appreciated.

I texted you a bunch of times for me to do the install.

Your wiring and/or power supply is inadequate. Upgrade your power and ground wires. Do the big 3.

I guarantee, your system is not nearly large enough to need an extra battery. Also, capacitors are useless so don't take that route either.

How many watts RMS are you running? I ran around 1500 with quality amps without any upgrades besides the big 3 and my voltage never dipped below 12.5 running. Maybe you should get that alternator checked out and do the big 3 upgrade.

Re: LOOKING FOR CAAR AUDIO (systems) INSTALLATION

The big 3 consists of:

Battery + to Alternator (fused)
Battery - to Chassis Ground
Engine to Chassis ground.

0awg should be used.
