Screeching Noise on Uneven Roads

Fellow orgers...i just dove 10 hrs to Canada fr NYC, what i notice is that when I'm going over uneven Roads i'm hearing a screeching...i'm thinking this is coming from the struts/Springs...its freakin driving me crazy, it happens 60% of the time...what's surprising is that is the road is really bad, it doesn't make the noise...
I hardly drive my car, maybe once every 2 weeks for cpl of miles..
What are you guys suggesting is the issue here..

Re: Screeching Noise on Uneven Roads

Maybe you have a foreign object stuck in one of the springs or maybe in a caliper, rule out that possibility first.

need to be more descriptive, noise direction, occur when steering wheel turned, slow speed, med speed, high speed, screech as rubber or metallic or even plastic screech ?

Drove the car today and the noise is still there.. intermittent . It's metal screeching..even on very small bumps at low speed. The noise seems its coming fr the left side of the car..I'm thinking to removing the springs/struts, fsb/rsb and reinstall...what options i have guys..
thx

Re: Screeching Noise on Uneven Roads

hard to say, if you have lowering springs, did you make sure to use the insulators on the springs ? as BKMaxima said, maybe strut mount, even check transmission mount if its separating. Have seen right side mount go bad and cause a metallic rubbing sound, after replacing every single suspension part on a 2k3 when I worked at Nissan.
